Description

Unencumbered quota

This auction is for unencumbered quota. The winning bidder is free to harvest this quota personally or appoint their own nominated fisher to harvest this quota. The quota does not include fishing fees.

GST

All prices quoted are ex-GST. GST will be added to the final invoice total.

Reserve

This auction is subject to a reserve. If the reserve is met, the auction will automatically show that the reserve has been satisfied.

Final offer opportunity if reserve not met

If the highest bid at the end of the auction is lower than the reserve, the highest bidder has the exclusive right to (i) accept the reserve instantly, for which the vendor is bound to; or (ii) submit a single final offer for the vendor to consider.

Bids in the last 60 seconds

In the last 60 seconds of the auction, any bid will reset the auction clock to 60 seconds. This is to reduce last second 'sniping'.

Max Bids

Bidding is done using BeachPrice's max bid feature. The max bid feature allows the bidder to set a price and have the system automatically bid on your behalf against other bidders using the minimum bid increment, all the way up to the user's max bid.

Bids are binding

All bids are binding. Bidders must pay a one-off and refundable security deposit of $250 via credit card. This helps ensure that all bids are genuine.

Payments

If the auction is successful, an invoice will be generated and sent to the buyer (usually on the same day). Payment is due within 2 business days of the invoice unless otherwise specified in this auction.

If buyer fails to complete

Should the buyer fail to complete the payment within the agreed time, the buyer agrees to forfeit the security deposit to the seller. The seller is then able to offer the item to the next highest bidder or re-list the item as a new auction.

If seller fails to complete

Should the seller fail to complete the transfer within the agreed time after the buyer has paid, the seller may be blocked from using the service in the future.

Buyers and sellers to act in good faith

While every care is taken to ensure the details of the seller's listings are accurate, BeachPrice does not guarantee the accuracy of listing details. Should any discrepancies be found, BeachPrice will attempt to facilitate a mutually agreed upon resolution in which both parties will negotiate in good faith. BeachPrice acts as the marketplace to connect buyer and seller, but all parties acknowledge Beachprice is not responsible for the accuracy or completion of either party.

Bidding is real time

At times you may experience network delays to the real time auction caused by your internet or mobile provider. Make sure to refresh your page if you're seeing any noticeable delays. BeachPrice is not responsible for bids that are not processed in time due to a network delay. You should ensure that your bids are made with sufficient time remaining.
